Growing up in the bush I’ve always enjoyed doing stories on wildlife.
In this case the story was about some unusual pig-nosed turtles, something I had never come across before.
The turtles have been hatched in captivity in a Conservation Commission hatchery, but were being released into the Daly River after they had been used in a study by local scientists.
