Looking downstream while crossing the Brisbane River via the Story bridge.
Shorter days mean I'm getting to see the sunrise a bit more often, and the cooler conditions make walking a bit brisk – especially if you throw in some showers.
I never cease to enjoy walking over this bridge no matter what the weather. Its about 70m to the water I'm told so you get great views upstream and down.
The oversized industrial nature of its construction and the way it sweeps from one side of the river to the other is always a pleasure.
Main thing to do is to get on it before the traffic builds up for the day, although I notice if there is a bit of rain about that does keep the pollution down.
